Apache Pines is one of Nevada HAND’s family communities located west of Tropicana Avenue off the I-215 in the Southwest area of Las Vegas. Also, Apache Pines is surrounded by several exceptional schools, including Sandra B. Abston Elementary School, Fertitta Middle School, and Durango High School. Apache Pines is a unique community in that it includes an on-site clubhouse operated by the Boys and Girl Club of Southern Nevada. Residents may qualify for full membership scholarships for their children to gain full access to the Boys and Girls Club services. Apache Pines is also staffed with a Resident Services coordinator who connects residents to community assistance programs; volunteer groups; and community activities, including workforce development opportunities, homework assistance programs, and summer education curricula. Monthly rent at Apache Pines start at only $628 per month for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment; $748 for a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment; and $846 for a three-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. To qualify, applicants must earn a minimum monthly income of at least 2 ½ times the monthly rent being charged for the apartment – income restrictions do apply. A one-person household must not exceed $31,500 gross annual income, a two-person household must not exceed $36,000 gross annual income, and a three-person household must not exceed $40,500 gross annual income.
